RED WINE QUINTA DO ORTIGÃO COLHEITA Grape Varieties: Baga, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional. Alcohol by volume: 13% Tasting notes: Red Ruby with hints of violet colour. Aroma of red fruits, strawberries. Young, smooth and well balanced. Food Pairing: Meat Dishes. Vinification: Destemmed and crushed, traditional fermentation in stainless steel vats with extended, but soft, skin maceration. Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures. Vineyards: The vineyards are located at the heart of Bairrada, in Anadia, between the Caramulo and Buçaco mountains at an elevation of about 50 meters above the sea level. The older vineyards were planted in 1972, followed by new plantations in 1999. Winemaker: Arminda Ferreira WHITE WINE QUINTA DO ORTIGÃO COLHEITA Grape Varieties: 60% Arinto, 30% Bical e 10% Maria Gomes. Alcohol by volume: 12,5% Tasting notes: Defined citrine colour. Hints of citrus, peach, fresh and dry apricot. Wine with good acidity and freshness. Food Pairing: Perfect to pair with salads, white meats and all kinds of grilled fish. Vinification: Total destemming, cold pelicular maceration, natural static defecation, alcoholic fermentation at 15º.
